Chlorine leakage process

After the chiller has been used for a long time, there will be a certain chance of fluorine leakage due to the worn parts or the makeup is not maintained. At this time, certain professional skills are required for maintenance work. However, a series of protection measures need to be taken at the first time that the chiller leaks fluorine, so as not to cause greater losses.

1. When a fluorine leak is found, the first shutdown and power off, drain the cooling water inside the chiller, pipes and host equipment.

2. Report to the manufacturer or professional maintenance personnel

After completing the above steps, you can arrange for maintenance. If the manufacturer uses the condition to repair it by myself, I can give specific steps and operation methods here:

1.Leak detection

1.1: Pressurize to apply gas pressure to the refrigeration system, inflation port: compressor suction port position; available gas: nitrogen, carbon dioxide, Freon R22 (absolutely prohibit the use of oxygen), pressurize 10-15kg / cm3

1.2: Use suspicious water or foam to paint the suspicious location: the copper elbow at the fin inlet and outlet, the shunt, merged welding position, the elbow or the tee weld cracked, please pay attention to whether there are multiple leak points.

2. Patching

2.1. After finding the leak location, discharge the gas in the refrigeration system cleanly. Repair according to the situation of the location, if it is a welding point, use copper electrode welding, the welding point needs to be smooth and smooth, welding is completed, appropriate fixing or shock treatment

2.2. Make sure that the repair of the leak point is completed, refill the gas test, and maintain the pressure in the system at 15kg / cm3. Focus on the inspection of the repair point and make accurate marks on the pressure gauge.

3. Vacuum

3.1: After confirming again that there is no leakage, discharge the gas, use a vacuum pump for vacuum treatment, continuously pump for more than 5 hours, and ensure that the pressure gauge pointer is below -0.1

3.2: Before evacuating, ensure that the water in the water tank and heat exchanger of the chiller is drained cleanly

4. Fluoride (Freon models are subject to the information on the nameplate of the chiller, other models cannot be used)

4.1: Fill Freon into the refrigeration system immediately after the vacuum is drawn. Add directly from the one-way needle valve of the vacuum. You can fill the Freon tank upside down and add it quickly.

4.2: Record the weight of the filling. A total of about 80KG needs to be added. When it is 40-50KG, it will be difficult to add it again. At this time, it needs to start to run the filling.

4.3: 1. Fill the water tank, 2. Power on, 3. Run the compressor. 4. Continue adding Freon until 80KG is added.

4.4: Observe the operating pressure of the unit: when the water temperature is 15 degrees: it is appropriate that the low pressure is not lower than about 5.5 / cm3

When the water temperature is 10 degrees: it is not lower than about 4.5kg / cm3.
